Capturing ideas in writing is a skill that can never be matched by technology. It will always require the craft and intuition of the writer. Marietta has been writing for more than 10 years and has produced a portfolio full of effective collateral and insightful profiles. She works on-site with Meridian to document program sessions with wall-sized notes and follow-up summaries. This frees participants to brainstorm and reflect on the ideas generated by the group. She is the former managing editor of "Sherpa," an adventure travel publication, and she has extensive experience as project manager in both the advertising and tourism industries. She also serves as a Disaster Assistance Reservist/Writer for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Marietta volunteers her skills to the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Center for Wooden Boats and various arts organizations on Bainbridge Island. She has a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Miami University, Oxford, OH and a private pilot's license.
